Last updated: 2026-05-04 — Notice and takedown procedure for copyright complaints on rzx.bio.
1. Overview
This Copyright Infringement Policy explains how to report content available on rzx.bio that you believe infringes your copyright, and how we respond to such reports.
The policy is designed to comply with notice-and-takedown obligations under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA, 17 U.S.C. §512) and with EU and Romanian intellectual property enforcement rules, in particular Directive (EU) 2019/790 on copyright in the Digital Single Market and Directive 2004/48/EC on the enforcement of intellectual property rights.
2. Where to Send a Notice
Send notices to:
- AVi Kairos Srl — Copyright Agent
- Strada Lungă 188, Corp C, Ap. 2, Brașov 500051, Romania
- 📧 [email protected] (subject line: "Copyright Notice")
3. What Your Notice Must Include
To be actionable, a notice must include all of the following:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (or, where the notice covers multiple works, a representative list);
- Identification of the material on rzx.bio you claim is infringing — preferably the full URL of the bio page, short link, QR code destination, file link or splash page, including any sub-pages;
- Your full name, postal address, telephone number and email address;
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law;
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorised to act on the owner's behalf;
- Your physical or electronic signature.
We may reject or postpone action on incomplete notices and may ask you to provide missing information.
4. What Happens When We Receive a Valid Notice
On receipt of a valid notice, we will:
- remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material;
- notify the affected account holder, providing a copy of the notice (with the reporter's contact details where required by law);
- give the account holder an opportunity to file a counter-notice;
- in cases of repeated infringement, suspend or terminate the account in line with our Community Standards.
5. Counter-Notice
If your Content was removed and you believe it was removed in error or as a result of misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice including:
- your name, address, phone number and email;
- identification of the removed material and its location before removal (URL);
- a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed by mistake or misidentification;
- a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of a court in your district (or, for users outside the U.S., the courts of Romania), and that you will accept service of process from the original notifier;
- your signature.
If we receive a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original reporter. If the reporter does not file a court action seeking a restraining order within 10–14 business days, we may restore the Content.
6. Repeat Infringers
It is our policy to terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.
7. Misuse of This Procedure
Knowingly submitting false notices or counter-notices may expose you to liability for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees, under U.S. law (17 U.S.C. §512(f)) and equivalent provisions of EU and Romanian law. Please do not use this procedure as a tool of harassment or unfair competition.
8. EU and Romanian Considerations
For complaints originating in the European Union or Romania, EU rules on the liability of online intermediaries and on copyright enforcement apply alongside this procedure. In particular, you may also pursue remedies under Directive 2004/48/EC and Romanian Law no. 8/1996 on copyright and related rights.
9. Other Intellectual Property Rights
For trademark and other IP infringement reports, please use the same contact channel and provide equivalent information adapted to the right concerned.
